Some projects require installation of raised access flooring in computer rooms, control rooms, equipment rooms, and clean rooms. This flooring type provides a void below floor level for power cabling, data cabling, telephone lines, HVAC, and fire detection and suppression. Floor tiles are installed on sturdy pedestals and individual tiles can be lifted to access cabling as needed.  Installation can be challenging because of weight distribution requirements, airflow, static control, and safety issues.

Our crews have installed raised access flooring primarily for data centers in commercial buildings in several locations around central Pennsylvania. Kelly Systems also builds ramps and handrails from the transition of the computer floor to the existing finish floor.
